DETROIT — Dan Gheesling is headed back to reality TV.

The Dearborn "Big Brother" champ — he won "Big Brother 10" in 2008, and was runner-up on "Big Brother 14" in 2012 — will return to reality when he joins the second season of the travel competition series "Destination X," Entertainment Weekly revealed Wednesday.

"I'm back," Gheesling wrote on Instagram.

He'll be joined in the cast by Detroiter Tiffany Mitchell, also a "Big Brother" alum, and the mastermind of "Big Brother 23's" famed "Cookout" alliance. Both Gheesling and Mitchell have competed on Peacock's "The Traitors" as well.

It was after his appearance on "The Traitors" in 2024 that Gheesling said he was laying his reality TV career to rest.

"I think this was kind of like an amazing cherry on top of my reality TV competition history," Gheesling told The Detroit News after his ouster from the show. "It was such an amazing experience, I don't know how anything could top this. So I think this is probably it. You haven't seen me in 10 years, and you'll probably never see me again."

Joining Gheesling and Mitchell in the cast are several reality TV stars, including Wendell Holland ("Survivor"), Kaylor Martin ("Love Island"), Aesha Scott ("Below Deck") and Nic Vansteenberghe ("Love Island"), along with several non-reality TV contestants.

"Destination X" is hosted by Jeffrey Dean Morgan. The series, which has been described as "The Amazing Race" meets "The Mole," follows contestants as they compete in challenges around the world in pursuit of a $250,000 prize.

The first season of the show debuted in May 2025 on NBC. The second season is expected to air in 2027.
